Why Ecobuggies?
Four seater and two seater buggies are often too much hassle for golfers and golf pressionals to bother with. A four seater buggy, in particular, can damage the turf and can extend the time taken on the course, due to the constant zigzagging accross the golf course.
Our research and experience tells us that more and more golf clubs see one seat electric golf buggies as the future for a variety of reasons including:
- Cheaper insurance than petrol buggies
- Better for the environment
- Less wear and tear on the course
- Lower costs for the golfer
- Higher roundage for the course(less zig zag accross the course than a 2 seat buggy!)
- Lower running costs
What does it cost to have Sonic Golf Scotland's single seater golf buddies at my club?
In a word - nothing! We supply an agreed number of our one seater golf buggies to the professional and provide all technical maintenance and batteries etc. In exchange, we share the revenue with the golf club professional. The agreement runs for 12 months but does not involve any leasing agreements or upfront costs whatsoever to either the golf course of professional.
Can every club have Eco Golf Buggies ?
No. We have to test the buggyto ensure there are no health and safety implications and to estimate potential return on our investment. We are happy to test with a single buggy, although supply is also subject to having a local operator in your county.
